The band Exile will launch its 50 Years In Music tour Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the KCI Expo Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Projected to extend into April 2014, the tour will highlight Exile’s enduring impact on pop and country music since its founding in Richmond, Kentucky in 1963.

Exile headlined last night’s The Stars Go Blue for Colon Cancer benefit at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Ford Theater. Money raised from the event benefits The Blue Note Fund which provides financial assistance to those going through treatment who are in need. Grammy-nominated producer/musician Charlie Kelley created the event and the fund after recovering from colon cancer at age 40.
